Nazareth Martin Guitar Festival versus Bethlehem Musikfest

After the flash thunderstorm in Lehigh Valley on Saturday morning, I thought the day was going to get worse. It ended up turning into a nice afternoon. Just the day to go to a festival with the family!!

Bethlehem Musikfest immediately came to mind but I was still concerned about the weather with parking and the crowds. Nazareth was celebrating the 175th anniversary of Martin Guitar with a big festival at the Nazareth Square on Main Street with music, food, and vendor booths. We decided to go to Nazareth

Traffic through Nazareth was easy and we got a parking spot on the street about 1 and 1/2 blocks from the event. Great!

The Nazareth festival "Martin On Main" was really nice. It reminded me of how Musikfest probably was years ago before it got so commercialized. There was music throughout the day in the middle of the square. Of course, all the guitars were Martin guitars.

In addition, there were vendor booths giving out samples of products plus food tents and ice cream. It was a really nice afternoon.
